This is my adaptation of the Turning 20 quilt pattern using John Deere 4 1/2" squares to make the centers of the 10" squares bordered by a mottled batik and flanked by solid batiks in yellow and green. The border is alternating yellow and green batiks. This is the back side of the motorcycle/car quilt for a client who has been in the hospital for over 2 years. I wanted him to have something from 'home' of something he likes.
